  1. In general, animals are not allowed inside the Campus buildings.
  2. However, as part of its commitment to promoting and strengthening Diversity & Inclusion policies, Bocconi has adopted rules regulating the access of assistance animals to University premises. These rules are designed to protect everyone and include very detailed procedures for accrediting a dog’s access.
  3. According to current procedures, visitors’ animals are never allowed inside campus buildings. However, for the Homecoming event, the procedures have been adapted to allow participants with disabilities who require the assistance of a dog to visit indoor spaces.
  4. For the Homecoming event, only assistance dogs (no other animals) for people with motor, sensory, or psychiatric disabilities, or with serious or chronic illnesses, will be allowed access to University buildings. The individual must hold a medical certificate issued by an Italian health authority (specialist doctor or public healthcare facility) in Italian, certifying the appropriateness and purpose of having an assistance dog. The certificate must be shown whenever requested by the staff in charge of building access control or event organization.
  5. The animal may be admitted solely to allow its owner to visit the building and may not remain inside; therefore, it will not be allowed at meetings, classes, lunches, dinners, etc.
  6. The animal must be covered by liability insurance valid in Italy, providing suitable coverage for the handler or owner against any damage to property or persons caused by the animal.
  7. If—at the sole discretion of the staff in charge of access control or event organization—the presence of the animal creates an uncomfortable situation or is deemed incompatible with the activities taking place in that environment, the dog will not be admitted and—if already inside—must be immediately taken outside by the accompanying person.
  8. Participants admitted with their dog must always comply with the following requirements:
    1. Be equipped with tools for managing or controlling the dog (e.g., leash, harness, collar, or other symbol identifying it as an assistance dog);
    2. Pay attention to the dog’s physiological, physical, and emotional needs, ensuring the mandatory collection of excrement or other organic residues (e.g., fur) and preventing inappropriate interactions between third parties and the dog;
    3. Ensure the dog behaves appropriately, is not aggressive, and does not cause interference or disturbance to others;
    4. Be mindful of interactions with other people or animals, taking into account and respecting any allergies, fears, or phobias.

Major Exhibitions Opening in October
At Palazzo Reale, from October 9, 2025, to January 6, 2026, the exhibition “ART FROM INSIDE: Masterpieces Unveiled Between Art and Science” opens the month. Curated by Fondazione Bracco, this multidisciplinary show explores what lies “inside” a work of art, combining art, research, and scientific technologies.
At Pirelli HangarBicocca, opening October 9, 2025, and running until February 15, 2026, the spotlight is on artist Nan Goldin with her exhibition “This Will Not End Well.” A broad selection of works by the American artist — including installations and projections — reveals how contemporary photography becomes an intense visual narrative of personal and social themes.
Continuing through October and on view until December 28, 2025, “Giorgio Armani Privé – 2005–2025” celebrates twenty years of Armani haute couture. Just one month after the passing of the Milanese designer and entrepreneur, this exhibition showcases around 150 couture garments, precious fabrics, and exclusive designs.

Concerts and Performances
On October 18, the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber hosts Queens of the Stone Age, while on October 29, The Hives take the stage at Alcatraz for a high-energy live show.
October also means opera and classical music: at La Scala, Rigoletto runs from October 7 to 28, and La fille du régiment from October 17 to November 7. From October 18 to 23, the Teatro alla Scala also presents the symphonic concert “A Survivor from Warsaw” conducted by Riccardo Chailly — a unique opportunity to experience the power of great symphonic music.
